Topic Thursday

Sometimes when we think of stress, only think of the psychological effects it has on our brain; however, stress also affects the body. An individual with chronic stress can suffer from heartburn, increased depression, a weakened immune system, insomnia, rapid breathing, high blood sugar/pressure, fertility problems, tense muscles, and a low sex drive.
