Here is a great breakfast that you can make in no time and it is even kid-approved!! Great for those hectic school mornings!
On-the-Go PB & J with Banana and Granola Wrap
1 Flatout® Light Flatbread
1 Tbs reduced fat peanut butter
1 Tbs sugar-free jam
2 strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/4 banana, cut in half lengthwise
2 Tbs low fat granola

Spread peanut butter evenly over entire Flatbread. On one rounded end, spread jam. Layer strawberry, banana and granola. Roll, cut and enjoy!

Tasty Tuesday
Here is a recipe for a great side dish to any main meal (or it's hearty enough to be a meal in itself!
Quinoa Vegetable Salad with Lemon-Basil Dressing
Ingredients 1 cup uncooked quinoa
15 oz. can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
3 roma tomatoes
1 orange bell pepper
1 1/2 cups corn (I used frozen, thawed)
4 green onions
{For the dressing}
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice, or more to taste
1 1/2 tsp. basil (or fresh if you have it)
Directions
Rinse quinoa, and cook according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, and basil. Set aside.
Slice green onions, dice roma tomatoes and bell pepper.
When quinoa is done cooking, let cool. Then place all salad ingredients in a large bowl.
Pour dressing over top and mix well to combine.
Can eat immediately or chill before serving.

Here is a great snack for you or your kiddos to enjoy!
Ingredients
- ½ cup pitted dates
- 1 cup dried apples (not freeze dried, these are the chewy ones)
- ½ cup oats
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor and process until it forms a thick paste.
- Using about a tablespoon of the mixture, roll into balls. If you want the little bites, use about ¼ teaspoon
