With Halloween just a couple of days away, I wanted to show you some healthier alternatives for Halloween treats!
Also, your kiddos are about to be bombarded with candy and other unhealthy treats. One trick that we use at our house to get rid of the candy (for the kids AND adults) is we have our son pick out 5 of his favorite treats from Trick-or-Treating to keep. The rest go in a bag and we have him put the bag outside the front door before he goes to bed. Overnight the 'Candy Fairy' comes and takes the candy and leaves a toy (doesn't have to be anything big or expensive, just something your kiddo(s) like). For now it really works for him, and is a win-win for us all. You can dispose of the candy how you wish but at least your child won't be on a sugar rush!
Anyway, look at these cute ideas!
